I would like to present this piece of American handcraft to you on behalf of my friend, Jo Ann Bethke.

Jo Ann lives in Missoula, MT. She has crocheted for over fifty years.  Her pieces are always original and one of a kind.  This is her rendition of a 4^th of July celebration.  I thought it was a fitting gift for you.  As our First Lady, you do represent “baseball, apple pie and motherhood” wonderfully.
